About this apartment rental
This large apartment is positioned on the ground floor of villa Le Cannicelle and separately accessed through the garden. The living room is large, bright, with great views of the sea. There is also a working fireplace, perfect for those who wish to stay during the colder months!
Off the living room there are the 3 bedrooms, beautifully furnished, each with modern beds and comfortable mattresses. The spacious kitchen, also with sea view and large alfresco dining terrace, is ideal for preparing tasty meals.
On the south side of the living room thre is the panoramic patio. Its big arches are made in local stone and offer a picturesque views of the coast and of the surrounding area.
Down a small set of rocky stairs, you will find the “taverna” (the summer kitchen of the villa), furnished in true rustic Italian style, all in local stone and chestnut wood, with magnificent views of the sea. Provided with built-in barbecue and authentic pizza oven, the taverna is perfect for a wonderful day at the barbecue or an evening meal.
The village of Villammare is lively at summer and there are bars, chalets, and shops. It is not a place spoiled by massive tourism and you will find a friendly athmosphere all around and an autentic glimpse of Italy. Restaurants in the surrounding as well as "trattorie" and "pizzerie" serve very good food.
Moreover the Villa is in the "National Park of Cilento" (UNESCO world heritage) so you can go on a lot of excursions in suggestive natural places, whether in the mountains or at the sea.
Guests staying at the property have also shared use of garden, swimming pool, large loggia with solarium, outdoor showers, laundry room, barbecue area and summer kitchen.
The nearest beach is 10 minutes away and the "marina" of Villammare is less than 1 mile therefore you could go walking but car is recommended because the last part of the road to the villa is steep.
Prices are inclusive of all Utility bills which include water, gas and electricity. All bedrooms and living spaces are provided with air conditioning except the kitchen. Linen changing includes change of bed linen once a week and bathroom linen twice a week (Wed and Sat). Pool towels are not included in the rates but available onsite at extra charge.
Local tourist tax applies during summer months. 1 euro per person per night. This does not apply to children under 10.

Fantastic home with wonderful grounds, view, pool, outdoor living and more. Marzio was a fantastic host and even showed us around town. So much to do and see in the area. Just spent our fourth holiday at Le Cannicelle and we're still amazed by the beauty of this villa and it's surrounding gardens. You can really enjoy privacy there in the middle of beautiful hillside nature and the view to the sea is stunning. The building as well as the gardens are very well maintained. Everything was spotless and worked perfectly. Once again we want to thank the friendly owner and the whole "team Le Cannicelle" for a great week!

"We found what we were looking for and we had a wonderful stay. We will come back next year with relatives and friends. PS: We miss our "martini" under the bright stars of the italian sky and obviously...the pooooool!"
