Garden and beautiful exterior. Quiet place surrounded by nature. Spacious rooms. Terrace with furniture to stay outside. Washing machine, useful when you are a family of 5 travelling. Space to park a big car.

Considering the size of the house, the shower could have been a little bigger. Enough storage place in the bigger room but not a real closet.

Lovely, quiet home — very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great beds with comfortable mattresses, and the cool night air coming through is wonderful. Oskar was attentive, friendly and genuinely helpful. The location works well: a 15-minute walk to the lake, which matters a lot since parking there is expensive and very limited. There’s also a really nice hike up to Straža, the hill with the alpine slides. The property has a huge yard with a hammock and a table tennis table. Overall, very good value for money and a very nice stay.

The listing explicitly mentions a microwave, but there isn’t one — we’d planned around having it, so for our family that was a real gap. A few basic kitchen items were also missing: bread knife, kitchen cloth, paper towels. Possibly nitpicking, but for a family that cooks, those are expected essentials. Finally, the hot water runs off a boiler, which for a family of five means waiting between showers.
