LOCATION WAS IDEAL, we had a car so were able to travel very easily to several other places of interest. Mojacar, Aguilas, and Garrucha were all readily accessible. In short there was plenty on offer in Vera alone for us to have enjoyed our stay. There was a fair amount of mini markets and restaurants, as well as shops, pool and the beach to compliment our choie of abode. Mojacar was nearby which was the main reason for our stay.
Our only negative experience was the grill restaurant we attended on the first evening. Despite speaking in Spanish when conversing with staff, and despite my daughters speaking Spanish fluently, we spoke to each other in English. We were aware of a very distinct change in the standard of service after that. it did not detract from our stay though, we chose to go elsewhere after that experience and ate in other more pleasurable restaurants.
