Clean, beautiful location overlooking the tea plantations. Staff friendly and helpful. Set up to provide breakfast packs for doing early chimpanzee trekking. Great restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
Drinking water container in room much appreciated.
Excellent location to get to Nyungwe National Park.
Nothing, would stay again.

- staff very helpful and nice
- room was clean and confortable (we only stayed 1 night and left at 4.45am for the chimpanzee trek)
- breakfast was packed on time and good
- well located before the national park and surrounded by tea plantations.
- diner service was slow. We asked for juices and a starter (to have together) before the main meals.. we heard the blenders 30min after the order was taken and we got the sambusas 20min after.
I dont like leaving reviews like this but waiting 1h for just starters when there are 4 people in a restaurant is just not possible. Otherwise everything was very good and they were nice to give us cake the other couple was offered for their anniversary.

Location, comfort of the room, quality of the service, cultural show, breakfast buffet
Dinner was average. There is clearly room for improvement. We had far better meals in more basic homestays
Smell from the pipes in the bathroom

The staff were friendly and assisted with checking in and moving bags to the room and back. This is an important point due to the terrain of that place especially if you have heavy bags and not very fit.
Overall room experience was a bit sub-par. Breakfast eggs were well over-cooked. Water pressure in the room was poor, despite having a room in the lowest part of the facility.
