Townhouse Apartment near SM City Lucena

The apartment is cozy. I like the location and the host.

Close to SM, clean, fast internet and close to little shops when you are too lazy to cook

Not much, we just notice that when it rained, the ants started marching in.

The location of the townhouse was perfect- 5 min drive to SM Lucena, was in a nice neighbourhood, outside food eateries and accessible road to the main areas. The hosts (twins 'Day Anne) was all sweet and friendly. Property was clean and had all the things we need in a home. Fast and reliable wifi was available, the 1 gallon of water was provided for free. Great air conditioning on all the bedrooms. The big room's bed was a little bit squeaky and may need screws to be tightened for future stays. We were grateful for the ability to park our motorbike inside the gated area for security. Will definitely stay here again when we pass Lucena in the future.

The staff/representative was very attentive and very kind and immediately acted upon my every requests. Because upon arriving I immediate checked and looked for cooking wares coz i need to cook in the morning, and upon opening the cabinets under the kitchen top, there were a number of cockroaches, the staff immediatley provided insecticide. I also requested for an extended stay up to 2pm if possible, but no pressure. They allowed it, maybe because there is no pending booking for the day. The main bedroom was spacious and with good A/C unit. The 2nd room size was enough for a double bunk bed and good A/C too.The property's location was very near sm lucena, the place is very well kept and orderly. Almost everything that you need is provided like clean towels, shower heater, cooking utensils etc.

Be ready with cash payment/gcash payment because the card details that I encoded during booking (which if you encoded incorrect details during booking, you will not succeed on booking, meaning I succeeded booking. All details were correct) was rejected saying that its invalid card, specifically saying "CVC is missing" it was later found out by customer service of booking.com that the error was not on my card but with the owner because their CVC reader was disabled. The cust service was very kind enough and very willing to assist the owner to be able to enable the CVC reader but the owner is quite not open to accept their shortcomings and insisted that CVC is missing despite that the cust service said that later on she can aleady see at their end that the CVC is now enabled unlike the first time she checked that it was disabled. The owner is quite rude as if I am going to ran off his property unpaid, which the customer service even witnessed how he conversed so rudely. I updated my card details 4 times and still the owner said CVC missing (again FYI, you will not succeed updating with incorrect, missing or unmatched details) . A very frustrating experience. Good thing that my mom later.on said she had cash. Because i guess even if i will encode my other card, he would still insist of CVC missing.. I had so much to say regarding this encounter, I may just send email directly to Booking.com. These were actually recorded by booking.com. There were cockroaches inside the cabinet under the kitchen top when we arrived (i have to check if they have frying pans because i need to cook in the morning, they keep the spoon and forks there too) but the staff immediately send us insecticide to manage it. The roaches immediately ran off towards the terrace and died there. No hair blower provided. The frying pan and rice cooker were worn out that the teflon part already were scratched making it a health hazard.
