VILLA BARRACUDA - "Seaview 3min walk to the beach"

The location was very good, you don’t need a car as there are shops and a local bus service. We had a car but used the local bus service most of the time. Villa had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

We could have done with a few more towels. Other than that an actual sun lounger would have been nice so we could tan all sides, there are comfortable recliners for the garden but you can’t tan your back on them.

Nice host who was very clear about where the house was and how to enter gates/access the lock key. The house is really lovely (though a slight damp smell when you walk in, but nothing overly bad), really big master and very comfortable bed. Lots of added bits to use if you need to, such as bikes and other beach items. Nice area to sit outside and overall, very comfortable and homely. Bus stop 5 min walk from the house (left out of the block and up to the top of the main road and cross over) which left 17min and 47min each hour (mon-fri) and cost just €2.80 for 2 to spin down to Playa Dorada which was our favourite beach. Tip, take a pic of the bus timetable! You can tap to pay and it's really handy to bring you into the main town of Playa Blanca. Taxi's back from main town is €6. To walk would take 30/40 mins. The marina is a 10-15 min walk along the cliffwalk with restaurants and some bars but it was really quiet when we were there so headed into Playa Blanca most evenings.

It's not a 3 min walk to a beach! Definitely 3 mins to the seafront/cliffwalk which is stunning but if there was a beach 3 mins away, we didn't find it. A very small gripe, but the sheets in the master were of low quality and for the price, you'd expect better but definitely not a deal breaker. It is also very, very quiet! Not an issue really but we felt we couldn't sit out after 10pm to have a drink for fear we'd annoy the neighbours.

Perfect gelegen rustige accomodatie. Op wandelafstand van winkels, resto's, strand en haven. Zeer gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Zeer goede meertalige communicatie met de verhuurder. Zeer goede bedden.
