The location was good , and it seemed clean

1) the hot water for the shower didn’t seem to work ( yes , I turned the switch on ) so I had to take a luke warm shower 2) the check in process : it’s weird . I guess the guy said he checked if for us when he called me before I got there . I think he’s like an agent for the people who own the apartments ( it’s an apartment building - not a hotel ??? ) . He took us upstairs to the room , asked us to pay the rate on Booking , no problems , I asked for a receipt - since the whole thing seemed dodgy to me , and he said no. Okay , whatever , I just took a picture of me handing over the cash and him giving me change from it . I suppose it was okay , since the only thing that was done through Booking was just reserving the room. I’m sure I paid a premium because it was a Saturday night , but I just booked another hotel 2 kms up the road for less than what I paid here and it is soooo much nicer , comfy western bed , modern conveniences, etc so … maybe if I was Vietnamese I would have understood the whole thing . 3) The hard Asian bed , I can sleep okay on them … but if you are one of those westerners that have to have your spring coils with a nice pillow top or memory foam , I’d give the place a miss
