Open space and bright.

On july 11th we were approaching Thonon les Bains and I was checking the information for my booking at Le Familial. When I realized I had not received the info booklet 24 hours prior, I contacted La Conciergie Chablaisienne. They told me the apartment had been sold and my reservation no longer valid. All I received was a request to cancel May 28th. But I didn’t want to cancel and no where was it indicated that THEY were cancelling and that the apartment was sold and no longer available. La conciergie never sent me a personal email to explain the situation. In my booking app the reservation was still showing “confirmed” and the payment went through my account on June 8th. All I received from booking was one automatic email asking if I wanted to cancel. All this to say I ended up finding another property in Thonon-les-Bains also managed by Cedric and La Conciergie Chablaisienne. This mismanaged cancellation had caused some stress as I’ travelling with two children and my elderly father-in-law. The day we arrived we started some laundry. The handle of the washing machine which was holding on by a thread literally just fell of in my husband’s hand as he opened the machine. The washing machine caused us much frustration. The clothes after one cycle were half wet half dry and not clean. The soap capsule was almost intact meaning barely any soap was used but what was used either left clumps or stain residue. My husband tried a second time with less clothes to see if it would work better. Negative. I advised Cedric on July 11th that the machine wasn’t working and he didn’t respond to my comment. That evening my husband was trying to dry the clothes on a clothes rack in the entry area with a sloped roof. As the beam and walls and ceiling are all white, the lower beam wasn’t well visible and he walked right into it almost causing a brain commotion. When I told this incident to the owner, he also didn’t respond or show any concern or apology.

Confortable. Bonne literie. Calme. Spacieux. Très bien équipé. Lumineux. Central….parfait

J’aurais aimé y passer plus de temps

L emplacement calme et très proche du centre ville à pied, des bords du lac. Une superbe piscine municipale à 2 pas de l appartement ainsi qu'un boulodrome et pleins d activités à découvrir côté lac leman et côté montagnes. L appartement était confortable et conforme aux descriptions

Noté dans l annonce, pas de place de parking attitrée.

der Eingang war sehr schlecht zu finden/Schlüsselübergabe schwierig, da die FeWo nicht im Vorderhaus liegt, sondern nur über den Hof zu erreichen war
