PET FRIENDLY CONDOS at FRIDAY HARBOUR

Location, cleanliness were great. The condo has everything we needed.

Nothing to mention, it was good

Clean and the area is nice to go spend time with family.

The balcony fireplace and the other fire lamp had no gas so none of them couldn’t be used. Also, they mention pool view and pool has been closed down, a bit of disappointment but ok. It said no dogs on the description but then the tile says “pet friendly”.

Friday Harbour itself is a beautiful resort. It’s a short walking distance from the unit to Starbucks, restaurants and the boardwalk. The unit had an electric fireplace (though we couldn’t figure out how to use it), a nice patio with outdoor furniture, and some golf-themed games.

The unit wasn’t as clean as expected. The fob to access the parking garage and building was not left for us (requiring us to dial-in for access each time we entered and park on the street, where we incurred two $39 parking tickets). There wasn’t any soap in one of the bathrooms, no dishwasher pucks, insufficient toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner for five guests, no blanket for the pull out couch, the bathroom door handle was broken and didn’t close properly, the primary bed was broken….it felt like a unit that had not been well cared for. The low battery alert on the smoke detector woke us from our sleep on multiple occasions. The window in the primary was left open when we arrived and the hand crank for it was broken. We had to remove the screen and manually pull the window closed. The hosts did not reply to my multiple emails asking for help during our stay.
