Bungalow 62,North Cornwall, St. Tudy

The environment is amazing, and my daughter loved the swimming pool.

The wifi could be faster.

Die Wohnung liegt in einem sehr schönen Bungalow-Park.

Die Wegbeschreibung zum Bungalow ist nicht besonders gut. In der Wohnung fehlen ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten. Es besteht einiger Reparaturbedarf: So war etwa ein Lattenrost gebrochen und muss ausgewechselt werden. Ein Rollo ist nicht ausreichend an der Wand befestigt und fällt schnell herunter.

The bed was a bit springy.

Decor was stylish, kitchen was well stocked with plates, pans etc. Site was remarkably peaceful considering in was a chalet park for families. It was an easy check in and location was perfect for our visit for job interview and look round this part of Cornwall.

There were no instructions about anything! Especially on how to use the heating (it was cold windy weather). When we did finally get it working it was not controllable enough. Also there was no hot running water apart from an electric shower, and again no instructions about how to get hot tap water. We called out the main site emergency superintendent who was great,as we couldn’t find any obvious contact info for the booking.com hosts (finally found it on 2nd day). The integrated fridge door was wonky and didn’t close properly. Bed mattresses were very soft and not good for older backs! Also proper amounts of toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, handwash) would have been great, not just drips in the bottom of a container. There’s not much point in bubble bath if no hot water from taps! Finally, some info about the main site we were on left inside the bungalow would have been helpful. We flew into Cornwall and had no idea that we could have used the bar, shop, restaurant and pool on site!
