    not sumptuous but perfectly adequate if you're not fussy. easy walk to airport. no food but 3 min walk to Gateway Hotel which has very good restaurant

    I booked this hotel because I needed somewhere close to the airport to get some sleep during my transit in Nadi. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. While I was asleep, someone repeatedly tried to open my room door. Thankfully, at least the door got the security chain, otherwise they could have entered my room. This happened several times and made me feel extremely unsafe. As a solo female traveler trying to rest before my next flight, this was completely unacceptable. The only positive thing about this hotel is its proximity to the airport (about 7 minutes walk) I contacted Agoda to report this serious safety issue, but they simply just told me to speak to the hotel and refused to provide any refund. It's very disappointing that such a serious security concern was not taken more seriously by either the hotel or Agoda. I would never stay here again and cannot recommend this property to anyone, especially if safety is a priority.
