About this house rental
Nestled in the lush Matatia Valley, just 5 minutes from Punaauia Lagoon, settle into this private and functional vacation rental. Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with your family, savor the laid-back Polynesian lifestyle while exploring the area or on a business trip.
The 55m² accommodations are located on our property, behind our family home.
Its amenities include air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, and high-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi.
You’ll have access to our pool, which is located next to our house. The pool is accessible outside of school breaks from Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or by arrangement outside of these hours.
Located 20 minutes from downtown, less than 10 minutes from popular beaches, and 5 minutes from nearby supermarkets.
The Te Moana Hotel is less than 5 minutes away—there you can enjoy cocktails and admire the magnificent sunset over Punaauia! Also nearby are the famous food trucks: grilled meats, pizzas, crepes, raw fish... !
If you love the great outdoors, you can enjoy an easy hike at the bottom of the valley.
We’re animal lovers and have a very affectionate dog and two cats who aren’t allowed inside the apartment—even though they’ll want to give you hugs! :)

We had a fabulous time in Tahiti and Daniel was a great host and readily available when needed. The house is a little out of the way which is wonderful to get out of the hustle and bustle of Papeete but if you arrive after dark it can be a little difficult to find. The property is well kept and very nice

Hard to find with the limited signposting and non existing street and area names in Tahiti. The dogs should be mentioned and the road needs improvement.

Daniel was a great host and the accommodation is great. It has all the essentials to make the stay relaxing and comfortable. For long stay organising a car/scooter rental is a must.

I came to Tahiti alone for some rest, rejuvenation, and snorkeling. I didn’t need much space but this had a full kitchen, dining, living room, private parking space.
Daniel lives next door and it was nice to have someone to chat with a few nights cause ya know, I was alone. He’s very friendly, hospitable, and of great help with recommendations.
Tahiti has lots of roosters so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The living room was big enough to do yoga in every morning. I was able to use the sliding doors on both walls to see my reflection which was perfect.
If you need a nice little hamlet this is your place. 👍👍
