nicely furnished apartment in a traditional style modern house. Quiet rural location but minutes from Ortisei, a much larger tourist town. Really nothing right by the property but other small towns with restaurants nearby. Free bus passes for those without a car. Local bakery delivers fresh bread/pastries to your door most days. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Recommended if you don’t want to be in a busy town.

This is an impeccably maintained apartment in a beautiful house, with underground parking, and a free bus pass to nearby villages. Daniela and family were friendly, welcoming, and always accessible without being in any way intrusive. The Val Gardena area offers incredible hiking among sharply pinnacled mountains, green valleys and meadows, and unbelievably scenic villages, such as Santa Magdalena. I highly recommend this property and give it top rating; the only minor issue I have with the listing is that the statement "You get fresh bread delivered to your door every morning" should include the words "at bakery prices". Also, a few basic staples, such as salt, pepper, sugar, and a bit of oil would be helpful in the kitchen.
