For a cozy dinner, you’ll find a well-equipped, functional, open kitchen with an oven, gas stove, dishwasher, and microwave.
The vacation home features a built-in Finnish sauna for 4–6 people, so you can relax and unwind even in stormy weather.
To ensure your vacation begins right away, the beds will be made upon your arrival.
Sports and recreational activities in the immediate vicinity:
The park features a subtropical swimming pool that was newly built in the summer of 2016. There is also a tennis court, mini-golf, several playgrounds—including one with a giant trampoline—petanque courts, and two bowling alleys. The wide beach is a wonderful spot for flying kites. Whether it’s the traditional single-line kite soaring majestically in the sky or the sporty four-line kite that allows for huge jumps or fast rides when the wind is right—every hobby kiter will find something to enjoy here.
Golf: Integrated into the park is a 9-hole golf course (A status) with a playing length of 5,545 meters and a par of 70. In addition to the “Driving Range on Water,” where you can practice even under floodlights, there is a putting and chipping green.
Fishing: You can enjoy your hobby in peace in the surrounding canals or right from the garden. From Den Helder, fishing boats head out to the North Sea, offering the opportunity for deep-sea fishing.
Horseback Riding: There are two riding centers with an indoor arena, an outdoor arena, and boarding stalls. During the off-season, horseback riding on the beach is permitted. Manege Noot, Julianadorp, Tel. +31 223 – 641287, (about a 5-minute walk) or Manege Bruin, Den Helder, Tel. 0223 – 14094.
Rainy weather: For those interested in technology, we recommend a visit to the Steam Engine Museum in Medemblik or the Naval Museum in Den Helder, where you can view, among other things, a World War II submarine in the outdoor exhibits. You might also enjoy a ride on the historic train from Hoorn to Medemblik, which runs every Saturday from April through October. For families with children, we recommend the “Cape Holland” theme park in Den Helder, right next to the Maritime Museum.
