A beautiful, 100 m² detached APARTMENT facing south/southwest, in a paradisiacal setting: in a secluded farmhouse (absolute silence). Now featuring a large, secure swimming pool ideally located right next to the house! It’s also a place particularly conducive to rest and rejuvenation: 300 m from the house, around a spring, two ornamental cascading pools invite you to read, meditate, play music, or simply enjoy an idyllic moment...
What makes our location unique is a sweeping view to the south/southwest, stretching all the way to the Mont Lozère mountain range (the highest point in the Cévennes), yet we can neither see nor hear any roads.
At the gateway to Provence, near the Ardèche Gorges (the Aven d’Orgnac—a “Grand Site de France”—10 km away, the Chauvet Cave [replica 25 km away], and the Cèze Valley (the Sautadet Waterfalls, the Chartreuse de Valbonne, and four “Most Beautiful Villages of France” nearby), Uzès (Pont du Gard), Avignon, Nîmes, etc.
Many villages in the area host magnificent Provençal markets nearly every day of the week.

The self-contained apartment is located partly in the historic house and partly in a very contemporary-style addition that blends perfectly with the surroundings and the historic building. In its interior design, the apartment—which is very bright and well-insulated—also harmoniously combines the old and the new.

We have a highly efficient standalone solar power system (220 V) and generate our own electricity. We are not connected to the EDF grid. Our central heating system runs on wood pellets. It’s nice and warm here in the winter, too!
