About this chalet rental
Private individual rents 2P (37m2, sleeps 5) in chalet without vis-à-vis, view of the Abondance Valley, sunny South position.
Quiet area Route du Roitet, located 800m from the centre of the village and shops, served by a free shuttle bus 20m from the chalet. Ski areas: SuperChâtel nearby, Linga (3km) and Pré La Joux (7km) = Portes du Soleil, by free bus from the town centre.
Parking space. Spring water in the garden.
Equipment: flat screen TV, fridge, hob, oven, extractor, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, raclette and fondue sets. Duvets and cushions provided. Bed linen and toiletries extra.
Non-smoking apartment. Our animal friends are not allowed.
Rates depending on the period (contact us for more information).
Possibility to rent two apartments in the same chalet (11 people). Availability of apartments: see booking calendars.
Rental contract. Cleaning included in the rental price. Tourist tax not included.

CHATEL ski area and ski pass: 130 kilometres of slopes, 58 modern ski lifts, 2200 metres above sea level, artificial snow if necessary. SUPER-CHATEL/VONNES/LINGA link opened in January 2015.
PORTES DU SOLEIL SKI AREA: 12 French and 4 Swiss resorts with only 1 ski pass, more than 650 kilometres of slopes for all levels, 194 ski lifts, maximum altitude 2460m.
Free bus shuttles every 10 minutes.
Forme d'O aquatic complex (open since 14/07/14) with heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, hammam. Operating, climbing, mountain biking (specific trails developed). Lake Geneva at 35 km, Thonon, Evian, Yvoire (listed medieval village).
Arts and culture: 2 cinemas in Châtel, museums and art galleries in Martigny, Lausanne, Geneva.
For gourmets (and gourmets ☺), cheeses and charcuterie from the Abondance valley, excellent butcher and very good baker - pastry chef, fresh fish from Lake Geneva, recommended restaurants nearby (Châtel and neighboring villages).

We arrived late and forgot to pack some things but this was not a problem as Didier was extremely helpful and resolved a potentially stressful situation. Would totally recommend.

Nice chalet with a great view and close to the town. The chalet is wel equipped. We had the 1 bedroom chalet with the garden, which was nice to have.
Contact with the owner was good and easy.

The location was out of the center along a very quite street. We were with 4 in the appartement which is really the max. The cabinets in the appartement are fully packed with stuff from the owner so take this into account with your own belongings. We had to rearrange the kitchen in order to do something there. Only one bedroom with double bed and a sleeping couch in the living room as advertised. Once the couch is turned into bed there is no much space left. For our stay during the winter it was too small. There is hardly space to dry your clothes after the whole day of skiing and snowboarding.We rented the package of bed linen and towels (25/person) which turns out to be old and some were unfresh. Not worth the money. In the end we made the best out of it but were a bit disappointed. Some feedback was given to the owners afterwards (during our stay there was nothing to do about it) but the owners reacted very offensive and with very long discussions. The owners (husband and wife) were reacting totally opposite from each other, never had this experience before. Hopefully our last as well.there is no much space to move.
