The Red Door Inn is a spacious 4 bedroom home close to historic Downtown Canon City. Our family friendly home has great entertainment options within and in the surrounding area!
The house is equipped with wireless internet, 2 TVs and a game room with foosball table and game cabinet full of fun board games. The options for adventure outside of the house are Mountain Biking, Hiking, rafting, local site seeing and much more. For winter adventure skiing is just 1.5 hrs. away!

We loved this property. This was a long weekend with friends for whitewater rafting. There was plenty of room for 7 of us. Check in was easy and the location was great. Close to things to do, downtown and shopping. Everything was clean and well maintained.

The house looks small from the outside but the appearance is deceiving. There was plenty of room for our family and it was as described. The location is right across a church and in a very quiet neighborhood. Its proximity to the downtown area is great as it’s a couple of minutes if even that! The train for the Royal Gorge railroad is just a few minutes as well! The Royal Gorge itself was the furthest away and that was about a15 to 25 minute drive. On a side note the dinosaur experience, great for kids but no so much for adults. The house was clean and it was so nice and cool upon arrival. The code was provided before we left our house to get to the Vrbo residence. This whole experience was truly enjoyable and without problems. Would recommend this residence for anyone heading to Cañon City. The grid layout of the town makes getting around easy and getting lost almost an impossibility!

Similar complaints other reviewers have had. Did not receive the entry code and had to contact VRBO because host was not responsive. Had to get a code to the laundry though it is listed as an amenity. No real grill utensils and grill needs some TLC.The place was safe for young kids, other than the basement stairs. They found some wrappers from the previous guests. Otherwise a fine stay.
