Jungle House Luxury Stays - Downtown Chillicothe

Great location, awesome value. Great washer and dryer, great to have a whole house to ourselves.

The beds were not that comfortable, 1 of the king beds slopped to 1 side, the twin mattresses were for small children and the other king had memory foam that we just didn’t like, but I know some People do.

The location was reasonably close and convenient to the vibrant and well kept downtown area. The property was clean and had the necessities and a few extras. Adequate mattress and soft linens. Comfortable for a one night stay. Owner/manager was kind and very responsive.

First and foremost, due to the sign "announcing" the tempermental coded lock on the entry door, the owners know that this is a problem. Arriving back at the property late after a play and having 3 different people in our party attempt 15 times or more to open the door following the directions on the sign is not acceptable (and no, none of us had enjoyed any alcohol prior to this!!!). The lock needs to be replaced with something workable.... period. I always expect "quirks" in a home that falls into the histrorical category. However, cosmetics and decorating does not improve cracks in the bathroom flooring and a large gaping crack above the showerhead or the electrical outlet diectly above the sink that stuck out a half inch from the wall (safety issue?). Lack of attention to these details detracted from the overall impression of the home. Repeated texts and emails offering "extras" FOR A CHARGE (early check-in, late check-out, etc) was a turn off.

Very clean, well designed. They thought of everything!

Maybe a microwave....lol...but actually the place was awesome, very high end.

Location was great, beds were comfortable, we loved the balcony!

I wish there were small table lamps in the bedrooms instead of just the overhead lights.
