The kitchen was well equipped but some of the utensils are a bit tired.

Only 1 toilet roll in each toilet that don't last 3 nights. Couldn't find any additional ones so bad to buy some. The carpets seem to have glitter sprinkled everywhere in the lounge.

Always love staying at Lovat Park. Great location, fabulous lodges that feel like a home from home and really friendly staff.

We liked the facility itself - big enough for a couple but not really a family on wet days. We could get out on those days without a vehicle so it was claustrophobic.

Getting the key was fine when we finally learned where the unit was - communications were challenging as the host didn't provide these details as he said he would until we were cold and shivering at the location. We had to call the site supervisor out of hours to get this detail who took an hour to get them himself. Arriving by car was assumed - information on the site didn't say it was miles out of town and only accessible by bus due to boggy/muddy walk trails through farm fields - which we had to declare walking through at biosecurity on our arrival home at the airport. There were no instructions left for using the gas heater and it was cold - the remote viewfinder for it was not working. Working the washing machine and microwave were also a challenge for the same reason - we had to give up on both in the end. Luckily the oven and hotplates were intuitive.
