Just Like Home

We had a really great time. The whole building is very well taken care of. We really enjoyed the fireplace in the room. The common area is great and the cat is lovely. Everything was very clean. Thank you for having us and we would be happy to come back one day.

I really liked that the room had a coffee machine with coffee available. It was also very convenient to have a fridge in the room, which made the stay even more comfortable.

The room was poorly soundproofed relative to the common area but the other occupants were quiet so it didn't bother us too much.

The check-in was easy, and the location was not hard to find (with Google maps). The bed was really comfortable. The price was affordable.

Keep in mind that the property owner lives in the same house. If we knew about this we would not book this place. Our room was in the basement with one small window, which we could not open because the chicken coop was just in front of it, and it was noted that the window can be opened only in emergency situations. In the room was a small bathroom, with a toilet and a small sink, but also no windows. In the room were personal belongings of the owner which in our opinion should not be kept in room that is for renting (like cables, safe, hunting rifles, etc). There was no waste bin in the room, refrigerator in the room was dirty, so we used one in the shared kitchen. The pictures are a bit misleading since you are still sharing the shower with others, and we did not feel comfortable using other common spaces due to the fact that the owner is living there.
