iQ Great Newton House in Liverpool 7 min walk to Lime Street Station

The location was good in terms of convience to central Liverpool and it was fairly quiet at night. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of space for storage for one person. The hot water in the shower was consistent. Easy to get in and out of the accomodation.

The toilet in my room was leaking. While it was a slow leakage, the slight sewage smell was unpleasant and it seeped into the room from the bathroom. The team were responsive and offered their maintenance team to come and check it, but I declined for personal reasons. I made a point to them that the host of an accomodation is responsible for checking that their premises are ready for people to come and stay in. Thankfully, a hand towel was enough to stop the smell from being too unbearable and to prevent leakage water from going everywhere for the duration of my stay, but it was disappointing to say the least.
