Ecohostel Tay Pichin

La ubicación es alejada del centro para que no se escuche el ruido de los autos y aparte es un ambiente natural y distinto la paz ya empieza desde ahí, aparte es ecologico para generar consciencia sobre el cuidado del mundo

Hay que ampliar el wifi a lás habitaciones

Súper acogedor, todo de barro, rústico, acolchados calentitos y la cocina muy bien equipada. Los voluntarios amables, y todo el proyecto una belleza. Evidentemente hay que informarse antes de ir pues tienen un perfil claro y lo aclaran, las quejas suelen ser de huéspedes que a lo mejor no investigaron bien sobre el lugar.

me gusto mucho la traquilidad que hay en el hostel y la buena atencion que tienen. Hay muchos espacios para poder descansar y relajarte en contacto con la naturaleza. Tambien me encanta su accion ecologica que tienen respecto al manejo de las aguas, tratamiento de residuos, compostaje y construcciones naturales

A beautiful setting in the hills with walking trails just at the edge of town. Big kitchen area & very nice views

It seem to be designed from an artist perspective but not with human habitation in mind. I couldn't say how many times I tripped on the paths, was hit in the face with a tree branch or scratched by overgrown shrubbery. To get to the toilets & showers you had to step over obstacles & ongoing construction. They also charged considerably more than my reservation on booking.com said. It was never clear who worked there since the woman who took my money slept in the bunk under me. They mumbled something about the exchange rate but I paid in pesos so no exchange rate would apply & I could have gotten a private double room w/ a bathroom & hot water for less in Buenos Aires. No one wants a negative surprise when they show up exhausted from a long journey. Their compost toilets were also poorly implemented. I am well versed in their use but they way they have them set up is not good for large amounts of people. Especially if they are renting it as a hostel. Overall I enjoyed my stay but this place is definitely not for the average person & should be updated or more clearly listed if they want to rent rooms. My bed was comfortable in the dormitory but there were 5 bunks w/ 4 people sleeping there & it appeared like there were about 20 people's belongings. More than 25 pairs of shoes (enough for a dozen or more ppl), backpacks, etc for the small amount of people that slept there. Very confusing. Not a good value for the price even though I can't say it's a bad place to hang out. It's more set up for commune living not to rent as a hostel
