About this apartment rental
Romance and serenity in nature - blissfully quiet, a treetop hideaway with panoramic views, a wood fire, bushwalking, abundant kangaroos and birdlife. This modern, architecturally designed home perches over the Aldinga Scrub, with a luxurious bath, large open kitchen and dining, and filtered water. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, only 5 minutes' walk to Aldinga Beach and 20 minutes' drive to the McLaren Vale wine district. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of Coriole Chenin Blanc on arrival.
The space
The open, light filled living area is luxuriously large, with wooden floor boards and woolen carpets. Large, double glazed windows allow nature to fill the room. Be surrounded by native trees and birds, in a room specially designed to feel like an extension of the Aldinga Scrub. Catch a glimpse of the resident Mopoke Owl family in the back yard. The bedroom also enjoys panoramic views, with modern, built in wardrobe and woolen carpet. The bathroom is also luxuriously large, with a large bath and separate shower. There are decks on both sides of the loft, one at the front looking over the Aldinga Scrub and Sellicks Beach, with hills and cliffs, the other at the back looking over heritage Box Mallee trees, with a large outdoor table and chairs. Take your pick of either view; enjoy watching the light change at sunset while sipping your complimentary bottle of Coriole Chenin Blanc and snack.

Lovely host and the property is beautifully located . Very quiet and a short walk to the beach and cafe etc . The place is set up perfectly with everything you need .

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this beach hideaway and loved the natural outlook and relaxed vibes. Spotlessly clean and well presented, the space felt like we were on a holiday rather than being a guest in a someone's home which can feel a bit odd. I would highly recommend it if quiet nights by the fire is the weekend you are looking for.
The aldinga scrub is a great spot to walk and we even had kangaroos almost in the front yard! Only a short drive to the star of greece for dinner and an afternoon spent at the cube which was an amazing experience.
Over all the combination of atmosphere, location and price is hard to argue against. We hope to be back soon.
