Casa fiumicello

The house was in a wonderful location, just a five-minute walk and one bridge away from Verona’s historic centre, in the charming Veronetta neighbourhood. This was very important for us, as we had no problem getting home late at night after attending an opera at the Arena di Verona. We walked home in about 20 minutes through beautiful and safe streets. For its price, the apartment was very comfortable. The host was always available. We had an issue with the air conditioning on the first day, and he resolved it immediately. He even offered us a discount as compensation. Everything was clean, and the neighbourhood was very peaceful and quiet. There was no window in the bedroom, which allowed us to sleep comfortably in complete darkness. On the other hand, having no window in the bedroom felt a little unusual. Besides the large bed, there was another very comfortable small bed in the bedroom, and there was also a sofa bed in the living room. The living room had two small windows. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable, and the bed linen and towels were very clean. The apartment had a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning and washing machine. I really missed having a coffee maker, as I am used to having coffee as soon as I wake up, but we simply had our morning coffee at a nearby café. Overall, I was very satisfied with our stay, especially because we used the apartment mainly as a place to sleep, and for that purpose it was very comfortable. As a suggestion to the host, I would recommend providing coffee, tea, a coffee maker and a few laundry detergent pods. Guests staying for just a few nights are unlikely to buy a 2–3 litre bottle of laundry detergent, while having some available in the apartment would be a small but very welcome extra touch. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for budget accommodation, especially for its excellent price-to-quality ratio and its convenient location close to the centre of Verona.

The bathroom was small and cramped. The shower head did not stay attached to its holder, so I had to wash my hair while holding the shower head in one hand, which was quite inconvenient.

El aire acondicionado y el equipamiento. Se puede estacionar cerca a costo bien bajo.
