The property was fully supplied from the standpoint of things like dishes, silverware, minor appliances, etc. The condition of most (albeit not all) furnishings was good and the basic trim level of the property was fine subject to items mentioned in the "didn't like" section below.
The location was very good for our particular need. If you're looking for a Boise property, then this is going to have a drive no matter what you do, but if you're looking for things to the west side (Nampa, Cauldwell, Meridian, etc.), this is is a solid choice. Not on the freeway, but not horribly far away either, and easy navigation to the many access roads in the area.
This is new construction and is one of the poorest quality builds I've seen in a very long time. There were several spots in the paint that look like chips, but appear to be spots where the paint probably just separated from a lack of primer between the paint and the sheetrock. The primary bathroom floor had two planks cut a few inches short and just left that way. That same bathroom had a pocket door that when it touches at the top has a 1 ½ " gap at the bottom. The floor in that area creeks as you walk on it at a level I haven't seen in a house less than 50 years old. The HVAC is horrifically out of balance, with the downstairs being perhaps 5 degrees cooler than upstairs (just one thermostat). On a simple repair front, the "keyless" entry was non-functional. You needed to use the lockbox. Thankfully that was the same code as the supposed keyless entry.
