Great location for the wedding we attended

This property was amazing and very affordable for the time of year we went. This was the perfect house for our family get away with 6 adults and 3 children and the fact that each bedroom had it's own bathroom was superb. The smart TV in each bedroom was also a massive plus. The land, venue and layout of the property were just beautiful - we couldn't get enough of the landscape. We also loved seeing kangaroos hopping around on the other side of the fence. The upstairs tower/terrace was incredible - we had a perfect view of the starry night sky and the mountains during the day. The central air conditioning system was an underrated bonus to a very hot couple of days.

1. Instructions to use the TV, Chrome Cast and projector in the theatre room. We tried connecting to the TV with HDMI cords/sharing our screen to no avail. We ended up just playing video games because we were unable to watch any movies in the theatre room as a family. The blu-ray player also did not seem to be connected to the TV. The smart TVs in the bedrooms however were very easy to connect to. Suggest installing an updated smart TV in the theatre room. 2. The kitchen was far too industrialised for a family get-away. Even after following the instructions and contacting the property caretakers it was unclear how to use the main oven and stove. Installing a normal household oven and stove on that side of the kitchen would be very beneficial. Understandably this property caters for events that require caterers to use a kitchen like this however for family dinners it was a challenge to maneuver. Also: please install a freezer! The freezer sections in the bedroom fridges had to be used for frozen food as the main kitchen did not have a freezer. 3. Minor details: would be great to have instructions on using the sauna and steam room - these were excellent additional facilities that we unfortunately couldn't use. The foosball table was missing the correct ball and the carrom table was missing the striker - again, amazing additions to the game room but a shame we couldn't use them. At least a second set of keys and some fly screens on some of the doors (namely the main doors leading to terrace) so that summer evenings can be spent with doors open without the fear of insects flying into the house.

Isolation

The location, the place itself was beautiful. The cleanliness was amazing. The care taker Kerry was amazing and has done such a good job keeping the place clean.

I’m not sure where to start. I’ll start with a list of things NOT working - commercial dishwasher - stove plate element - deep fryer - no freezer - fire place - Most doors don’t stay closed because there’s no latches - Jacuzzi - Projector plays up - remotes for dvd players all mixed up and some don’t work - fish need feeding, some are dead and we couldn’t find any food for them. - light globes blown above bed on wall in one of the bedrooms. -Garden and ponds could do with some attention Our suggestion would be, Instead of just sticking do not use stickers on everything I think the owners should come down and fix a few things, give it more love. The furniture is so old it just doesn’t even make sense being in such a modern place. What concerns me the most is that reviews from back in 2016 had the same problems. I know there has been multiple ownerships since then so no one has even tried to keep this place up to scratch in many years. It’s sad because it deserves so much, it’s beautiful and in such a lovely area. I’d hate to see it go to waste. We are disappointed we payed so much for something we could hardly use. Though we did have a lovely time I’d love to come back next year to enjoy the place again if things were fixed.
