Housepitality - The Maynard Manor

The house was large enough for all of us. We had 6 people and a baby. The beds were comfortable. They provided amenities such as coffee pods and a Keurig. The location was convenient to go all of the places we wanted to go.

The floors were kind of dirty. There was mold in one of the showers. It was hot upstairs and they had provided fans but the fans were very dusty.

The location was good, that is what we like most. It was an Airbnb-like facility, so we got the code to open the door on 25th August, the day we were supposed to check in. The house was good in terms of space availability, but more than that.

The facility was not in proper shape. One bathroom was without a latch and another one had a hanging door. When it was complained about, it took 2 days to mend. The property was not clean enough, and we had to vacuum again. The sink was leaking and the coffee maker had water from previous visitor (don't know since when). The bedsheets and towels were bare minimum. If one needs more, one has to do the laundry again. The cooling was not effective. Initially, we had 3 fans, but it took two days to get 2 more fans for 5 rooms (as the cooling was not proper upstairs). Same problem with mirrors. Not every room had mirrors. The ladies in our group had to do makeup. We found one mirror downstairs toward the basement. When we took it up to the lobby, we found it was already cracked and shattered while lifting (very dangerous). So, the overall experience was not so good.
