Oak and Cedar

Spacious and comfortable. More than enough room for everyone. Little touches like firewood, coffee and tea, heaters in the rooms were much appreciated.

Bathrooms were very cold as we were there in winter. Water from the shower ended up wetting almost the whole floor in the ensuite bathroom.

Spacious house in a great location.

Backyard needed some maintenance. Washing line very dirty and very few pegs to use. Could use an airer to hang things inside the house. The dishwasher didn’t drain properly.

The house was very spacious for our family of eight plus a toddler. The beds were comfortable and the heaters in the bedrooms made it very warm and cosy. The two living areas were spacious with plenty of lounges to relax in. The kitchen area was clean with basic items provided. Adequate parking, not all undercover.

As it was mid winter, it would have been nice to have heater lights in the two ensuite bathrooms, as the one in the main bathroom. Hooks to hang clothing would have been useful too. Also, putting a chair in some of the bedrooms, particularly for older persons to sit on to assist with dressing.

The property was spacious and had all the necessary facilities - the beds were comfortable and the cupboards in the kitchen were well stocked with incidentals

When we arrived the house was closed up - curtains closed - Windows’s closed it was very dark and dingy- there was a very bad smell through the house which li gered throughout our stay - it was worse at my end of the house - Main bedroom - was very smelly - like dank water - it was quite over powering- I was a bit disappointed I. That as this weekend was a very special occasion for me. My son was horrified as he arrived first a d he had to air the house completely before I arrived but the smell stayed the whole weekend
