Clean and comfortable but noisy location and a hefty 300 Euro deposit

The apartment was clean and comfortable, some sachets of coffee and water provided. Light and airy and very close to the beach, although not a sea view. It was a spacious apartment with good bathroom and kitchen facilities and suited our 2 night stay. The Calais dragon is well work a look!

The small print, I had not seen there was a 300 Euro deposit, it was not in the main description, you have to click on Important Information to see it, I have never in over 10 years of using Booking.com had to pay a deposit, let alone such a large amount, I would not have booked had I known this as it was the end of our holiday and a large amount of money to part with. Sadly the location is on the main road which is well known for cruising cars and bikes, even late into the night there were revving engines, beeping horns and playing of loud music in the carpark opposite and cruising the strip. I am no killjoy as my sister and I are both bikers and were travelling on motorbikes but both Saturday and Sunday night this went on till well after midnight. I have never been asked to strip my bedding before either and put it together with the towels, we had to get the early shuttle home and get up at 6am, the last thing I wanted to do was to strip the bedding.

This apartment is right on the beach. The only downside was some of the noise from the car park where people were doing meets in their cars. The apartment itself was lovely. Very well looked after all the all great facilities available Right by the local bakery. Not far from the village restaurants. On the bus route into Calais however, be aware if you do get the bus. It closes down early so you will have to walk back but that was fine for me Bed was a little flimsy. liased with the owner and they were willing to come and fix straight away But yes, I would definitely stay here again

De studio was goed , alleen de tafel was veel te klein om 's morgens een ontspannen en deftig ontbijt te nemen, dus dringend grotere tafel plaatsen .

Séjour agréable, location très correcte

L'emplacement est génial, certes la vue est sur le parking mais il suffit de marcher quelques mètres pour avoir la plage qui est nettement moins fréquentée que quelques centaines de mètres plus loin à Calais Plage. Nous sommes pas très loin de plusieurs points d'intérêts comme les Caps Blanc Nez et Gris Nez,Wimereux, Ambleteuse, Calais ville. L'appartement est suffisant pour deux et propre. Le système autonome est simple. Belle décoration et équipements suffisants. Salle de bain très pratique. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour

Le matelas était peu confortable Il manque quelques accessoires en cuisine comme un plat ou un éplucheur. Mais rien de grave. Ce n'est en rien de la faute de la location mais quelques attroupements de motos ou voitures tunées se réunissent certains soirs et c'est un peu désagréable niveau bruits
