The steps to the room were really deep and steep for carrying bags. The private bathroom was separate to the room down the hall so not great for night time toilet trips.

Clean quite and very big room, especially with a comfortable bed that I have never experienced at this price. The owner is very friendly and can provide a motorcycle or bicycle for rent, she even helped me to arrange a shuttle car to the boarder gate(Friendship gate) at 50k VND only. A really very nice experience in Lang Son！

The owner helped me out when I arrived late and gave me some tips for where to eat.

The owner communicates details via WhatsApp because no one is in the hotel. She sent how to get into the hotel, however she didn't give some important details like where the towels were, so I had to look through cabinets and eventually find two hand towels that were there as decoration to dry with. My real issue was that I left behind two articles of clothing and, since I live in Hanoi, I sent her a message within 24h of leaving to see if I could pick them up later or have them sent. Instead, she said the cleaner "didn't see them". Frankly, I didn't expect to get them back, but her attitude was just to shift blame and not take my advice which was to talk to her cleaner about what to do with found objects since keeping them should not be an option. I travelled from her hotel straight to this one in the next town and I remember where I left these two articles of clothes. Luckily, this was only clothing and not jewellery. Also, stay away from the coffee in the room, it's old and insoluble, and protect yourself from the bumgun which is set to power wash mode.
