About this house rental
Enjoy the beautiful sierras with the whole family at this stylish mountain chalet.
This home is newly furnished and updated with a focus on both comfort and style. Get comfortable in the expansive couch in the family room and watch a movie by the fireplace, or relax under the trees on the back deck with your favorite book. Beautiful wood floors throughout.
Centrally located close to town. In the summer, the lake is 5 min away; in the winter, ski slopes are 30 min away at China Peak Ski Resort. Includes a Tesla or other EV vehicle fast charger.
NO PARTIES, NO LOUD MUSIC. This is a not a party pad - this is a small, quiet development with neighbors who live there full time - if you have a party, law enforcement will be called, you will be asked to leave.
No more than 2 vehicles in the driveway and no parking on the road (especially in the winter due to snowplows!)
Pets MAY be permitted for an additional $100 flat fee - please message us so that we can make arrangements for additional deep cleaning to remove pet hair in between guests.
Happy to do a weekly or monthly rate - just message us!

We loved staying in this house. From the communication prior to our stay upon entering for the first time. I have rented many vacation homes but this was by far the most clean and well stacked one. We loved the Swiss modern interior and found everything we need in the kitchen. Even a blender and waffle maker for the kids! We had one false alarm regarding the shower and the owners reacted so fast and send someone over right away. The beds were comfy and all the towels and linen so soft. We loved that we didn’t need to bring a high chair, a crib or even sleds. Everything was already there. We would definitely stay here again. It is only 30 minute from China peak where we went skiing with our 4 year olds.

We are a family of six along with my elderly mother who stayed for three nights in this home. We have rented multiple homes and we loved this home! It was perfect for us. There’s a downstairs bedroom and bath, which was good for my mom. She did have to go up a few steps to get into the home. The upstairs kid bedroom was perfect for my four kids. And then my husband and I had our own room. We cooked almost every meal and the kitchen is literally one of the best stocked kitchens we’ve ever rented. It had everything you need! We spent one day entirely in the home and played games all day and there was a nice blend of games. My kids enjoyed the ping pong table. We used the BBQ twice and that worked well. The neighborhood is very quiet and serene. Sitting on the deck with a nice cup of coffee was wonderful! The towels and linens were plush. There were plenty of kitchen towels. The soaps, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner were good quality. It felt like our home away from home. The owners provided me with all the information I needed ahead of time! I had one small question upon arrival and they were responsive very quickly. Finally, it was very close to the town and the lake! Thank you for everything!
