Our vacation farm, awarded the DLG “Farm Vacation” seal of quality, is a fully operational farm where we grow crops. So, in addition to a healthy getaway just behind the dike, there’s plenty to experience and discover! Children are very welcome!
Our vacation farm, featuring two very comfortable and modernly furnished and equipped apartments, is located on the outskirts of Bensersiel.
The farm stands alone in the East Frisian marshlands, and every day you’ll enjoy the stunning view of the fields and meadows, the dike, and Bensersiel. The sunrise will “haunt” your dreams all year round.
You can reach all the attractions Bensersiel has to offer within a 15-minute walk. We have a handcart ready for you to use for your beach gear and for the kids.
The “Sonneninsel” North Sea spa is located right along your path to the beach. Not even a stone’s throw away is the spa park, through which you can walk past the harbor to the beach facilities. There you’ll find the beach itself, complete with an adventure playground and the “Kunterbunt” children’s center, the seawater wave pool, the maritime sports theme park, and the circus tent for the kids. Brand-new is the beach portal, featuring a covered beach area and additional recreational and informational offerings.
You’ll also find plenty of shops—for example, in the Deichpassage—as well as restaurants and cafes along your short walk to the beach.
Whether you’re here for a vacation or a health retreat, we’ve got you perfectly taken care of. Very close to Bensersiel lies Esens, the “parlor” of the Harlingerland region.
You can reach Esens by car, but it’s even better to take the “back route” through the marshlands via the “Hammerweg”; or cycle along the idyllic “Kajedeich” beside the “Benser Tief.” Wonderful tours await you.
