Quincy Street, quiet & downtown historic district charm

Super cute historic house. The steps leading upstairs are very steep and narrow (because they’re original to the house), so if you have small children or limited mobility it would not be a good option, as the bedrooms are all upstairs. The location was excellent, kitchen great (table seats 4), and overall it was a very nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean, the kitchen was well-supplied for cooking, the beds were very comfortable. Location was good, with proximity to downtown and easy access out of town tourist locations.It should be noted that, for someone with any mobility issues, there is no easy direct sidewalk access from the available street parking. There are about 15 stairs to the bedrooms on the top floor and they are very narrow.One bedroom has its own bathroom. The second bedroom does not and requires going downstairs for the second bathroom. Neither bedroom has a closet for hanging clothes. We did find a portable rack in the closet and had to put it out in the hall so both bedrooms had access.One bedroom had no curtain on one upper window, allowing light in during early morning sleep time. We had to cover it with pillows to avoid waking up early.If you can live with the few limitations, this is a pleasant place to stay.

We stayed at Manya’s for 3 days and it was perfect. It was in a quiet neighborhood but very close to the downtown.She was very helpful and accommodating and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you Manya.
