Very beautiful architect-designed house, completed in 2014, bright and sunny, with high ceilings, air-conditioned, a heated swimming pool in season (depending on the climate, generally mid-May to mid-September) and grandiose views of the two valleys and the Cathar castle of Quéribus. From the office, we have a view of the Château de Peyrepertuse.

Perfect place to relax in a completely natural setting where the landscape is privileged. The house is completely integrated into the landscape, with its black wooden facade, vertically perforated and very large bay windows. The interior spaces have beautiful volumes and are architected to make the most of the beautiful views, the windows frame the landscape of the scrubland and the valley like paintings. It has a large scrubland type garden.

It is on a single level which is accessed by stairs. The heated swimming pool in season (from mid-May to mid-September) (7m x 3.3m), fenced, is on the same level as the house. The garden is a little on the heights, with small landscaped corners and very pretty views over the valleys. It is wild, scrubland and green oak type with rocks.
The house is equipped with WIFI. We provide sheets and towels. Parking for three cars.

The MAISON DES DEUX CHATEAUX is located in the village of Duilhac sous Peyrepertuse, in the heart of the Cathar country, in the Corbières.

The region offers multiple activities, both cultural (the castles of the Cathar country, Quéribus, Peyrepertuse, Aguilar, Termes..., the abbeys of Lagrasse and Fontfroide, the city of Carcassonne), sporting (mountain biking, canyoning, paragliding, hiking) and remarkable natural sites (the Gorges de Galamus, the gorges du Verdouble) with of course the climate of Languedoc.
Ideal for hiking, cycling and more. 50 km from the Mediterranean Sea.


The house is well suited to two families with children, because each can have their own independent part, and also group together around the main kitchen and its large living room.

(8 to 9 people), 160 m2, the swimming pool heated in season (depending on the climate, generally from mid-May to mid-September) and fenced, the garden 1600 m2.

• Four bedrooms, all equipped with good quality bedding: a bedroom with a double bed of 160 cm with a private balcony, a bedroom with a double bed of 160 cm, a bedroom with two beds + a pull-out bed, a bedroom for two beds.
• A fully equipped designer main kitchen, with a touchscreen ceramic hob, an ecological dishwasher, a large 200 liter Bosch fridge with a freezer compartment, 3 drawers (70 liters), an oven, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine, an electric coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.
• A large living room.
• A living room (equipped secondary kitchen, dining room, living room) with : ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, oven, kettle.
• Two bathrooms; one with bath and 2 sinks, one with shower and sink and toilet. Each is equipped with a heated towel rail and a hairdryer.
