2 semi-detached villas close to Porto-Vecchio (5km), in a quiet wooded environment with secure swimming pool (to be shared with the semi-detached villa), the first beaches 6km away and the Ospedale national forest 14km away. Palavesa, a peaceful hamlet, the villa is ideally located between the mountains and the beaches of the coast. Comfortably furnished and well equipped, the villa is ideal for families and couples. A secure swimming pool of 5 m by 11 m with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. With well maintained gardens. The villa would appeal to anyone who wishes to combine pure tranquility with a range of amenities that is very easily accessible. The lively resort of Porto Vecchio with its quota of restaurants, local produce and traditional cuisine restaurants are present. The cafes and shops are 5 km away while the sparkling beaches are also very accessible. For the bravest, there is a wide range of action. Palavesa is the perfect place for relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Porto Vecchio. If you are looking for water sports, windsurfing, kayaking, diving and sea walking. Most of the beaches in the vicinity will make you happy. Head to the mountains or hiking, climbing can be found nearby. A beautiful walk at the exit of the Ospedale which will take you to the Waterfall of "Piscia di Gallo" or Coq Waterfall, At the level of the Ospedale Dam a wonderful place in this superb pine forest is an Adventure Park, Via Ferrata, climbing as well as Canyoning.

We were warmly welcomed and had everything explained to us en Francais about the appliances etc. The directions were good and the house was easy to find. It's tucked away in a beautiful, quiet part of Corsica with ease of access to Porto Vecchio only a few minutes away. The house had a wonderful country feel and was spacious and cool. The pool was wonderful with spectacular views of the mountains and countryside. Highly recommended!

This apartment is about 15 minutes outside Porto Vecchio. The pool area is lovely, the pool has fantastic views of the mountains. The outside area is beautiful and the gardens are very pretty.
It would be a fantastic base for walking in the mountains.
The owner Ange Marie is lovely, she doesn't speak English (and we are ashamed to say we don't speak much French) but we managed to use sign language and pointing to discuss most things. She made us feel very welcome.
The apartment itself is basic but has everything you need. It was beautifully clean. We had a few evenings in and used the BBQ which was good.
The only downside for us would be that the sofa is rather uncomfortable, we didn't spend a huge amount of time sitting inside (the outside areas are lovely) so wasn't really a problem. The shower upstairs has poor water pressure, I have a lot of hair and after a day at the beach needs washing which took a while.

Great villa for a small family / couples. Well equipped. Clean and tidy. Location just outside Porto Vecchio ideal to explore local beaches and mountains. Excellent pool and outside alfesco dining space. very helpful owners.
