About this house rental
Centrally located yet peaceful, The Lake House on Mary is just a couple of blocks from Lake Olmstead in Augusta, Georgia. This newly renovated 1946 mill house has been updated but still retains its classic charm and comfort.
The space
this place is great inside and out. the front porch is inviting and perfect that late afternoon drinks when the sun warms that side of the house. the inside is decorated with a lakehouse feel. The centerpiece of the living room is this worn leather sofa that will just swallow you up. Hung on the walls, you will find original photographs by Chuck from various places around Augusta and the world.
The covered patio in the could probably be the highlight of any stay. By opening the French doorsoff of the dining area, it almost turns two spaces into one.

Chuck made us feel welcome, was only about 10 mins from the Masters. Perfect place to stay if you can get the opportunity.

First, the house was awesome. It was clean, and really charming. Has everything anyone might need for a short ot long stay. The loacation is also great. Its a short walk to Lake Olmstead or to a great neighborhood park.
Second, and most importantly, the owner was fantastic. Very engaged and communicative. His hospitality was above and beyond in every way. If I have the option to stay here on my next visit, I will take it without quesiton.
