The cottages of Les Rimaudières welcome you in their renovated Charente farmhouse located in a quiet and pleasant environment. The spacious " les Hirondelles" cottage is fully equipped (WiFi access included) with private terrace overlooking a large garden and a very large heated pool.
Close to the beaches and the main tourist sites as well as the typical villages of Mortagne and Talmont sur Gironde (5 min), come and relax in this peaceful setting for families or groups of friends.
The space
The Gîte is composed on the ground floor :

Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge, microwave oven, electric oven with a gas hob, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster...
Bright dining room with a large table that can accommodate 8 people and its wood burning stove.
The living room is composed of 2 sofas with TV DVD player.
Bathroom with toilet, corner bath and shower.
Also available: ironing board and iron, stretcher, vacuum cleaner… Free WiFi access.

Upstairs :

Bedroom 1 : one king size bed with en-suite bathroom
Bedroom 2 : 2 single beds.
Bedroom 3 : 2 single beds
Bedroom 4 (Mezzanine) : one double bed
Bathroom with toilet and shower.

We also follow a strict sanitary protocol regarding cleaning and disinfection of the dwelling.

Outside :

On your shaded terrace you will find a wooden garden furniture for 8 people and a gas barbecue overlooking the vast garden and the very large pool shared and secured with the other two gites of the property.
Sunbeds, armchairs, umbrellas are available to fully enjoy the sun and relax in this peaceful environment.
At your disposal : private parking, various leisure facilities (petanque court, swing, table tennis, badminton, balloons, children's games, books, dvd, board games...).

Close to the cottages, you can enjoy nature and a generous environment allowing you hiking, cycling, or horseback riding. Nearby also many properties of pineau and cognac that you can then taste. Not to mention the superb views of the Gironde Estuary…

Only 3 minutes from the magnificent village of Mortagne sur Gironde (marina and fishing port in the heart of the cliffs, restaurant, flea market), and 5 minutes from one of the most beautiful villages in France of Talmont sur Gironde (crafts, heritage, restaurant, promontory on the estuary,).

The first beaches of Meschers are 15 minutes away, and continuing a little further Royan (seaside town, large market, casino, water activities, golf...), 30 minutes from La Palmyre (its famous zoo and these large beaches facing the lighthouse of Cordouan), Saintes (Gallo-Roman vestige, Charente river), Jonzac (aquatic complex " les Antilles "), 40 minutes from the island of Oléron and Cognac and 1: 00 from Bordeaux and La Rochelle.
