Magnificent 2 bedroom ground floor apartment, wi-fi, pool, garden, near beach and golf - Galé, Albufeira

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful resort. The location is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing environment, tucked away from noisy areas. Visiting in April meant only about five apartments were occupied, making it incredibly quiet, which we loved. We had an amazing time at the pool (water warm enough for a short swim!), but the absolute highlight was the accessible roof offering magnificent, magical sunset views.It is highly convenient for getting around on foot. A SPAR is a 13-minute walk away, and two beautiful beaches are within a 16-minute walk. Inside, the apartment was well-equipped, and the AC was fully operational.There are a few areas for improvement. The apartment feels a bit dated and would benefit from refurbishment. We also struggled with the plumbing: the boiler needs adjustment as the shower temperature fluctuates wildly between too cold and too hot. Additionally, there is poor water pressure in the bath shower hose, and the storage area was slightly damp and smelled a bit.Overall, the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made for a wonderful holiday.

The southern exposure on the deck was really nice. This property is very close to excellent restaurants and the amazing boardwalks near the ocean.

Host wes helpful. Apartment needs a bit of attention, some things are ready for upgrade. Bedding and towels could be renewed. Very pleasant and quiet location. Well equipped with things mentioned above Overall a pleasant stay despite 5 storms during our stay

We stayed for six weeks from the end of January. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is spacious and set in very pleasant grounds. In fact, the Baia village complex is lovely. Not too big, beautiful rooftop views, and a very attractive pool. There is parking outside your door or in the underground car park.The aircon units are cooling/heating, which we were grateful for, because mornings and evenings are cold in winter. The location is superb with several beautiful beaches within a 5 minute drive. Also several supermarkets and restaurants a short drive away.Pedro the owner was very helpful; the handle on the washing machine door broke while we were there and he had it replaced very quickly.All in all we would definitely recommend this apartment for a pleasant relaxing stay.
