Lovely, characterful cottage. Excellent location.

Could do with having somewhere higher to rest the showerhead.

Location was good very close to high street. Beds very comfortable and cottage had a good feel to it

Garden is a bit overgrown but v pretty. Not enough glasses, cutlery a bit tired, not enough loo roll or dishwasher tablets - also it was a bit dusty in places and cobwebs and lots of wood lice at night

What a beautiful, charming home from home! Just the kind of place we dream about when we watch "Escape to The Country". Beautifully and tastefully decorated whilst maintaining the character of the property. Beams, flagstone floors, beautiful garden, dedicated parking spots, lovely kitchen, rolltop tub . . . and that and spitting distance from pubs, restaurants and shopping! We were lucky to have some unseasonably warm weather for our autumn stay so we had gin and tonics in the garden. Yay! Oh yeah, and Fox's chocolate bisquits in the kitchen when we arrived. How thoughtful!

Parking was a bit tricky but probably only because we Americans are used to a parade ground to park in and we were still getting used to the rental car. XD Once we got used to it, we were fine.

Home had not been cleaned (beds changed / rubbish etc) three hours before usable. The apology was a pack of biscuits and a zero % wine! for lack of cleaning - no follow up checks as to cleaning. little things taps in bathroom loose / light bulbs not working bathroom and top bedroom /no inner bin in bathroom Unable to use main oven due to lack of cleanliness / no extractor Many steep steps both garden and house bath not usable as a shower (MOBILITY AN ISSUE)
