Sea Notes Yamba

Loved the layout of Amber’s home and all the beautiful little touches including delicious teas, quality utensils and products, and super comfortable beds. We really had everything we needed. The yard was properly fenced off so our little dogs made the most of playing in the grass. The location was an easy walk to town and a super quick walk to the beach - we could hear the ocean through our bedroom window at night. Alison really made sure we were looked after.

The exceptional attention to detail, our every need had been well thought through. The styling and quality throughout the property exceeded our expectations. Ambers communication was fantastic, sharing great places to visit and eat in Yamba. We were spoilt with many added extras including beautiful tea, hot chocolates, soaps and many other treats throughout. Even our doggie was spoilt with treats, and the choice of two beds. We really didn’t want to leave.

Everything was perfect.

Was super kid friendly, clean and had everything you could need. Was such a short walk to the beach and bonus entry to the leisure center pool when you didn’t feel like getting sandy. The set out was great and would definately stay again.

Quiet, clean & functional. Well appointed kitchen. Beds and linen were very comfortable. A/C worked well too. Loved the hammock for afternoon naps!

Not really that good a spot to walk into town. We typically stay on Convent beach and found that so much easier to walk into the main town area. I also found it rather odd to receive a “noise alert” notice! No mention of “noise monitoring” in the booking or the onsite compendium. Found that rather unsettling for two specific reasons. Firstly, I don’t like being monitored without appropriate notification. In fact audio recording conversations without guests being made aware is illegal! Secondly, I did not at any point during my stay have “loud” conversations, music nor playing games as the text suggests. In fact the most annoying part of my stay here was the incessant barking from the door next door! I went out of my way to ensure we weren’t a bother to those neighbouring properties. I do also think that lawns and gardens are I need of some attention. The lounge looks old and tired. The temporary layer of foam on the top of the lounge really isn’t very appealing. Especially when paying over $5k for 4 nights for 3 people.
