Large Dog Friendly Period Property with Hot Tub

Great location - friendly staff - fantastic facilities.

The property itself is beautiful the location perfect. However there were many issues:Advertising: no table tennis table as promised Property sleeps 16 however Not enough beds (a sofa, although comfortable to sit on, is not a bed, bedding or towels . We were a group of 15.Communication between owners and staff was poorly managed. We had to chase staff to get action. The owner also stated requests had been made to staff that had not been actioned. Management of the heating non existent. We had a whole day with no hot water or heating to be told they had run out of oil. This is a maintenance issue that should not have arisen. Once the oil arrived at tea time the engineer spent an hour tinkering to make the boiler work. All whilst we were preparing supper. He was polite but planted between the kitchen and dining room could have been a health and safety hazard. Kitchen equipment provided for cooking was lacking. 3 small saucepans minimal large bowls provided for serving food. Finally when I asked for a late check out by text, the preferred communication method and then by asking the staff we had no response. Disappointed by the lack of care given to us and the property. After being bombarded with emails trying to upsell goods it left us feeling this is simply a cash cow that is not loved or maintained in the appropriate way. Such a shame because it could be so much better.

Very spacious plenty of room for the 16of us, didn't feel on top of each other.Great location, little shop not far away for andy when needed..Plenty of extra bedding, Great kitchn, Fab cinema and TV room. Kids loved the popcorn machine..Nice big field for the 2 dogs, Beautiful views.. This is a very big old house, Internet was fine..Everyone was so happy there..My eldest grandson said as leaving to come home.. That was fabulous..He also left as nice review in the book.. Thanks for a lovely stay

It was the perfect location and property for our party of 4 couples and 4 babies.

Owner wouldn’t reply or pick up calls while we were at the house so we couldn’t ask for anything but overall it was a pleasant stay

The home was fabulous - spacious, great amenities, lovely setting to watch the stars at night, the hot tub of course was a huge bonus! Great value for money, owners were lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Loved having the games room, cinema room and the hot tub. Great location, close to Newborough beach and other attractions.

We had a 2 night stay. The house was perfect for us, a group of mums & kids just to chill and have time together.. we had an Asda shop delivered to the house at check in….the kids played ping pong and watched movies and had a game of football on the field…the mums cooked and drank wine! We all had a dip in the hot tub!… the most beautiful beach & forest just 8 mins drive away for an afternoon outing. Just what we needed. A gorgeous house in a peaceful setting.

Fabulous accommodation with great facilities

I don’t often leave reviews but we stayed here on a family holiday over the weekend and I can’t explain how perfect the house and the customer service was. Would highly recommend if looking for a stay in a big group in Anglesey. Loved the cinema and games room and the hot tub and fire pit in the enclosed garden. Great bbq and wood fired pizza oven for group cooking. Nothing was too much to ask for and our stay was made so easy!
