There’s plenty of space to play at the Köhne vacation farm. The playgrounds are spread out over 40,000 m². There’s something to discover and experience everywhere. The mountain ranges of the Rothaar Mountains, the Saalhauser Mountains, and the Hunau define the low mountain landscape of the Hochsauerland. Around the town of Schmallenberg—in the true “Land of a Thousand Mountains”—guests will find picturesque villages nestled among mountains and valleys, meadows, and forests. Bright white stucco set against dark beams gives the half-timbered houses in the villages and on the farms their characteristic appearance.

Our organic farm is located at the end of a narrow road in Berghausen near Schmallenberg. The sprawling farm grounds are characterized by the historic farmhouse, the accompanying barns, and various vacation homes nestled among towering trees.

The farmhouse features the 9 apartments “Hase,” “Katze,” “Pony,” and “Hund,” each with 2 bedrooms; the “Jagdwohnung” with 4 bedrooms; the “Bauernwohnung” with 3 bedrooms; and the “Huhn,” “Dachstube links,” and “Dachstube rechts” apartments, each with one bedroom.
