Sleeping 18, this cabin is large enough to comfortably accommodate the whole family with several great spaces for both indoor and outdoor entertaining. Whether you are looking to gather around the campfire to roast marshmallows, watch the kids swing on the play-set while you catch up on conversation on the back deck, have a friendly game night upstairs in the game room, or make new family memories over a special meal in the kitchen, the Sound of Sunshine cabin is ready to host you for your Broken Bow getaway. Kitchen and Dining: Large table with seating for 8, barstool seating for 5 at breakfast bar, stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, dishwasher, Keurig K-cup and drip coffee maker, 4-slice toaster, mixing bowls, pitcher, blender, crock pot, hand mixer, baking sheets, knife set, cutting board, muffin pan, can opener, measuring cups, cooking utensils, spices, pots, pans, dishes, flatware, drinkware, and plastic cups.
Living: Large new modular sectional, two chairs, gas fireplace, HDTV, games, half bath off the living room.
Downstairs Master Bedroom #1 (sleeps 2): King bed, two nightstands, dresser, HDTV, walk-in closet, en suite bathroom with double vanity, hair dryer, walk-in shower.
Upstairs Bedroom #2 (sleeps 2): King bed, one nightstand, HDTV, en suite bathroom with single vanity, hair dryer, shower/tub combo.
Upstairs Bedroom #3 (sleeps 2): King bed, two nightstands, dresser, HDTV, chair.

General - Property is pet-friendly. Up to 2 dogs may stay with payment of pet fee and owner approval. Large, pull-thru paved driveway for easy in/out boat parking, HDTVs throughout cabin. Full-size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board available in laundry closet. Gas fireplaces seasonally available (October-April). Contactless check-in/out process provided with enhanced cleaning measures implemented for your safety. Please also note that this property uses exterior surveillance cameras facing away from and monitoring activity approaching the cabin's entrances. Maximum occupancy for this cabin is 18, no exceptions.

Very nice property!! Very well stocked kitchen, loved the jacuzzi, camp fire (appreciate the wood pile), kids play area and game room were great. Everything worked and was utilized. Check in was easy - thank you. Cleanliness was 4 stars - could use a deep cleaning ( vents and returns, upper area’s, etc. overall - wonderful!!

Wonderful stay in Broken Bow. The living areas easily accommodated our group of 12, and the bedrooms—each a king suite—were perfectly comfortable. Great property in a great location.

The cabin was beautiful inside and out. My parents enjoyed sitting outside. The kitchen is well stocked and the host was always available when we needed her. You will not be disappointed!

Meredith was an excellent host who promptly responded to my messages before and during our trip. The house is conveniently located near local restaurants and a brewery, only a 10-minute walk away. Walking through the hilly neighborhood streets can be a great workout.
While the house has similar features to many other Broken Bow cabins, it is important to note that although it is listed to accommodate 18 people, it may feel cramped. The outside patio only had a table for six and a small lounge area for four, which was insufficient. The loft, which was supposed to accommodate four adults, has no storage and two queens but was not suitable for some of our adults due to the tight and steep spiral stairs and the difficulty of heading to the nearest bathroom. The bunk bedroom had no storage space and was also tight.
Unfortunately, we found the cabin less clean than we had hoped. There were spider webs in the kitchen ceiling, and one night my cousin felt something fall on his face while he slept, which turned out to be a small roach. Some of us had bites on our legs and back that were not from mosquitoes. We were unsure if they were bed bug bites or ticks, but my cousin found a tick inside her belly button after returning home.
While we appreciate the opportunity to use the cabin, I hope my feedback can help improve the experience for future guests.
