About this villa rental
Thalia Villas is located in Trapezaki, 15 km. From Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia and is a complex of 4 villas, surrounded by trees, with stunning views of the neighboring countryside, Evosmos and the sea towards Zakynthos.
Each luxury villa has two floors and accommodates 6 people. They are air-conditioned throughout and are located in a large garden. They have 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two with their own bathroom, living room with fireplace, internet, satellite TV and DVD player, kitchen with cooking rings, oven, fridge, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and coffee maker. and a coffee maker. Each has a large courtyard with a private pool, deckchairs, pergola, barbecue and balcony on the first floor. There is private parking.
Shops and taverns are a short walk away and the beach just 5 minutes.

Plan:
Villa Venetia has a large open-plan living room with kitchen and dining area. Patio doors lead out to a pergola shaded terrace by the pool and BBQ area. There are panoramic ocean views and stunning sunsets. Also on the ground floor there is a twin bedroom and an adjoining shower room.
On the first floor, the en-suite bedroom has doors leading to a balcony. The double room also has a private bathroom with patio doors. Outside there are shady gardens and a private parking area.
Living room:
The living room is nicely furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchairs and a fireplace. There is a TV and music system.
Kitchen:
There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge-freezer. The open plan dining room has a dining table and chairs for 6 people. There are verandahs from the sitting room to the shaded patio which has another table and chairs to enjoy BBQ meals by the pool.
Bedrooms:
The master bedroom is on the first floor. There is an en suite bathroom with a full bath and patio doors leading to a balcony with sea views.
The first floor twin has an en-suite bathroom and patio doors. The other twin bedroom is on the ground floor with a separate shower room and the window has a lovely mountain view.
Bathrooms:
The villa has 3 bathrooms. One is a ground floor shower. The bathroom with full bath and shower is on the first floor, with an en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom. The third is an en-suite shower room in the upper twin bedroom.
Private pool:
The spacious swimming pool is surrounded by a paved terrace with a balcony offering incredible views of the countryside, the ocean and even Zakynthos. There is a shaded pergola by the pool.

Depth: Shallow: 0.75m Deep The swimming pool can be heated with an extra cost and only after requested at the owner the least a month before the arrival

Thalia is the most welcoming and kind host I’ve ever stayed with. She genuinely cared if we were having a good time and was eager to practice her English and offer recommendations. The villa was exactly as described and as per the pictures. The private pool was the highlight for our family with views out to sea, across to Zakinthos and of the mountains behind. Trapezaki is a calm laid back area of the island. You can walk to a well stocked mini market and Trapezaki Taverna, which are a 5 to 10 minute walk via a reasonably quiet road. If you want a bustling resort and lots of nightlife this is not for you! About 10 - 15 mins walk are two other tavernas would recommend Gefiri and Boho cafe - both are great! Trapezaki beach is about a 20 minute walk - we drove down and found parking at the beach. Denis Taverna on the beach is excellent too, the walk too long for my teens. Would also recommend a trip to the beaches around Spartia. We hired a car at the airport which I would recommend. If you want a big Supermarket Lidl is only 20 minute drive and Argostoli the capital is easily reached too, the Caves and the other side of the island are about an hour away. If you are looking for a peaceful family get away in a well equipped Villa, in a great location on beautiful Kefalonia then I would throughly recommend Thalia’s Villa

We had the most wonderful two weeks in Kefalonia. The property was perfect for us. The location was lovely - it was a short walk to several good restaurants and a really well stocked mini supermarket. Trapezaki beach was a bit further but also walkable. The villa was really comfortable and clean. The pool was perfect - warmed by the sun and regularly cleaned. The view was stunning! There were just two of us the first week but six in the second week as family joined us. Plenty of room for us all. We used the barbecue several times. The owner was really friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were super happy with everything and would not hesitate to return to this lovely island and this property.

This villa is in a nice location but has a most annoying air conditioning setup in that if you reside in the main bedroom and decide to sleep with the window open it will disable the aircon in the other two bedrooms !! Also a/c is restricted to Minimum of 24’ for this reason I wouldn’t return
