Holiday Escape From City Center

Fuori dal centro ma comunque a 800 metri dalla spiaggia (15 minuti a piedi, andata in discesa, ritorno in salita). Proprietari veramente gentili e accoglienti, gli unici che ci hanno fatto trovare un piatto di affettati e formaggi tipici della zona. L’appartamento non è nuovo ma funzionale ed è dotato di un bel patio antistante contornato da piante dove si può cenare. Divano letto comodo e comunque la signora offre un tappetino apposito per renderlo ancora più confortevole.

We couldn't have wished for better accommodation or more wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, Joko and Milka welcomed us warmly and had prepared a platter full of cheeses, cold cuts, and other delicious treats. We felt truly welcome from the very first moment. Almost every day, Milka asked if we needed any help, a ride somewhere, or if we wanted to do some laundry. Whenever we needed something – a baby bath, a potty, a child seat, board games, medicine, or an iron – it was arranged in no time. We truly felt that they genuinely cared about us and wanted to make sure that both we and our children had everything we needed. Almost every day, Milka surprised us with something delicious: pancakes, fried bread, French fries, or tasty vegetable patties. The potatoes and bay leaves they had grown themselves were absolutely delicious. On our wedding anniversary, we received a wonderful surprise – a beautiful bouquet of flowers and some treats. For our daughter's birthday, Milka made a delicious cheesecake with candles and pizza, and our daughter also received Raffaello chocolates and a Makarska magnet as a gift. All these little and big gestures touched us deeply. ❤️ The apartment itself was extremely clean, comfortable, and welcoming. There were more than enough towels, and whenever we wanted, we could get fresh towels and clean bed linen. The beds were comfortable, and we slept very well. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking and plenty of dishes and utensils. The fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, and stove all worked well. There were also plenty of cleaning supplies and toilet paper. We had our own outdoor area where we enjoyed spending time together. Parking was also available. The apartment is located in a peaceful area. The nearest pleasant beach is within walking distance, straight downhill from the apartment. Maxi Konzum (Veliko Brdo 1A) is also nearby, where food can be bought at affordable prices.

Sve je bilo super zaista. Smestaj je lep, domacini su predivni i nemamo bas ni jednu zamerku. Definitivno bi preporucila ovaj smestaj za one koji dolaze u Makarsku. Stan je kao na slici, sa terase se i vidi more, domacini su preljubazni Smestaj se nalazi van centralnog podrucja ali nama to nije bilo problem da opet uvece prosetamo do plaze ili centra. Takodje postoji opcija gradskog autobusa koji prolazi mislim bas kroz tu ulicu, i ide do crkve i pijace. Nismo koristili, ali sam videla reklamu, pa mozda nekome bude znacilo.

The best thing was hosts mother. Lovely lady. Always asking how we were. Brought us meats and bread and cheese when we arrived and donut balls on last day(homemade). Apartment was spacious and well equipped . Looking up at mountains from road was amazing

A bit out of way up hill. Took a while to get keys and shower cubicle a bit small.
