Dachwohnung mit Charme im Haus Luchre, Zermatt

Neat and tidy. As advertised. Complete amenities. Accessible by E bus though there is still a bit of a hike going up the apartment.

Low ceiling but we knew about this so this should not count as a negative. Just as a reminder for future renters that it may not be suited for very tall people. A little bit of a hike getting to the apartment but also known to us. For people with heavy luggages, it maybe not a good idea though bus stop would drop you off near the apartment. You still have to climb 90 plus steps to get there. Finally, the feel of the apartment is somewhat rustic and outdated but it fits that appearance and is not advertised as a modern apartment. But all of these are known to us so there are no complaints. I would still rate the apartment highly.

Lovely flat with everything you need (and a bit more, like local maps, adaptor plugs, salt, washing-up liquid). Very helpful host.

The 1km uphill hike from the town centre is a bit of a killer - especially with luggage or shopping. And the last bus each day is at 19:25 :-( But then i guess that's why this apartment is more affordable than most!

Spacious, great location, quiet, all amenities

Well equipped and nice tableware. Fluid communication with the owner via WhatsApp.

Location: quite far from the train station, uphill and many steps. Part of the apartment, especially the bedroom, is very sloping and low, so you hit your head and up walking hunched over.
