De host José is echt geweldig en laat alles vallen voor je wanneer je hem een vraag stelt. Super behulpzaam en van alle markten thuis: hij was ook een perfecte kok en gids.

La localisation, l’accueil de José qui nous a énormément aidé. Suite à un vol dans le taxi aller, il nous a même avancé de l’argent sans nous connaître ! On a fabriqué des petites maisons en pierre de lave et beaucoup appris sur le village. José a aussi été un très bon guide pour nous faire le grand tour du volcan. Le lit et les équipements sont propres, le lit est confortable. Bref vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés ! Merci José !

You NEED to experience Jose, the host. He is the guestroom owner - but not just the owner. He has many professions - maybe all. He is an architect and a builder - he built the whole house (its more like a whole village) by himself. It is made with sooo much love and love to the details! He is also a tourist guide who can take you up the volcano (it is necessary to go with a guide up there!). He safely took us to the summit. The tour up there was really fun, because Jose is really funny (and a little bit crazy). He is also a chef: He cooks every food by himself with different wishes from the tourists (for us, for example he prepared vegetarian dinner). He is also a wine grower: He makes wine by himself which you can try to taste and drink. He is also the cleaing staff: washing and cleaning his whole house/village. He is also an artist: He makes some really nice art out of the volcanic stones - very very cute, with much love and cheap if you want to buy one. He is a tourist information: He can organize you taxi or other tours if you want to. He is always happy and smiling and can teach you Ouril if you want to (the most popular Cape Verdian game). Big recommendation, absolutely 10/10!

L’hôte beaucoup trop présent et tactile. Une randonnée très sportive adaptée au rythme du guide et pas des participants. Le manque d’eau chaude (comme sur le reste du village)
