Stepney Green Gated Area with Parking & Garden

The apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood just a short walk from Stepney Green station - great location! The flat itself is cosy, spread over two floors, and well-equipped for cooking. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like bottled water, tea, biscuits, and toiletries.

We booked this apartment for 4 people, but unfortunately, the sofa bed was not suitable for sleeping. It was extremely squeaky and felt broken, making it impossible to use. We had to put the mattress on the floor to make it work. While the hosts acknowledged the issue when we reported it, it’s not acceptable to advertise 4 sleeping places when one isn’t usable. The key collection process was also inconvenient - we had to walk about 10 minutes from the apartment to pick up the keys, which wasn't clearly mentioned in the listing. Additionally, we were told we’d receive the access pin 2 hours before check-in, but by 23:00 we still hadn’t received anything and had to contact the property via WhatsApp - not ideal when you're travelling without internet. Lastly, be aware that the property reserves a £100 deposit, which is not handled through Booking.com.
