Brody Art Boutique Apartments

Ficamos cinco dias neste apartamento e tivemos uma experiência excelente. A localização é muito boa, com acesso fácil ao metrô, paragem de ônibus muito próxima e possibilidade de ir caminhando para várias atrações de Budapeste. O edifício é antigo, como muitos prédios europeus, e a conservação das áreas comuns não é o ponto forte. O apartamento fica no quarto andar e não possui elevador, o que pode ser um inconveniente para algumas pessoas. Porém, a escada é confortável, com degraus baixos e fáceis de subir. Para quem não está com malas muito grandes ou não possui dificuldades de locomoção, isso não chega a ser um problema. O apartamento em si é excelente. Extremamente limpo — talvez um dos pontos mais fortes da hospedagem. Muito bonito, organizado, muito bem mobiliado e com roupas de cama de ótima qualidade, proporcionando noites de sono muito confortáveis. O apartamento é silencioso, sem ruídos externos, graças às janelas duplas e também ao fato de elas serem voltadas para um pátio interno do edifício. A cozinha é muito completa, com tudo o que precisávamos: louças, talheres, utensílios, sabão para louça e até itens básicos como sal, vinagre e azeite. O banheiro também estava muito bem equipado, com várias toalhas extras e até chinelos disponíveis, algo muito útil para quem pretende visitar as famosas termas de Budapeste. O proprietário foi muito prestativo e a senhora responsável pelo check-in também nos atendeu extremamente bem. O apartamento possui dois quartos com ótima privacidade e um pé-direito bastante alto, trazendo ainda mais sensação de conforto e amplitude. Encontramos exatamente tudo o que precisávamos para uma estadia confortável e agradável em Budapeste. Recomendaríamos sem dúvida.

The building is one of those old, U-shaped buildings. First thing you encounter when entering the building are the trash cans that smells horrible. This shall pe resolved somehow (discused with the other tenants to find another place for the trash cans) because it is a big drawback foe any guests. Moreover, the apartment is at the third (last) floor, which makes it very hot in the apartment. Because of this, we had to leave the AC open during the day, even when we left the apartment, in order to cool down and have a good sleep at night. It was strange that we received a message on that day not to leave the AC open when leaving the apartment. My guess is that the host was somehow watching or coming to the apartment, which we do not appreciate at all. Another very bad thing was the shower - the drain was clogged and at the first shower the water leaked outside the bathtube. We had to clean and unclogg the bathtube, which is not normal for a guest to do. Additionally, the host is very insistend. Almost everyday we received a message with what to/not to do, way too many restrictions: take out the trash when leaving, start the dishwasher, do not leave the AC open, leave the locker with a specific code, read the book with instructions and soooo on. The host shall understand that their guests are mostly on holiday and do not want to be stresses all day, everyday about the housekeeping rules. One of the reasons we reserved the apartment was because we thoutht it has 2 bathrooms. Apparently, it has 2 bathrooms, but both of them are incomplete: one only with a sink and a toilet, and the other one has a shower and a sink. It might be partially our fault, bacause I did not checked the apartment layout before booking, although I belive the layout was not posted when we reserved (february 2025). Other minor drawbacks: light on the hallway is on sensor and at night if you want to sleep with the door open, it is very annoying.
