Sun India Guest House

I had a good experience staying at Sun India Guest House for one day. After looking at the building from the outside, I did not expect the room to be at my satisfaction level but it was exactly the same as shown in the pictures. After seeing the old type building from outside and while climbing to the first floor through the stairs where the reception was located, I had doubts in my mind about cleanliness and hygiene of the room. Near the reception I was welcomed by a cute old pet cat which felt very homely. Later during my stay I also saw another cat with 4–5 cute kittens. They were so adorable that I didn’t interact much honestly, I felt like I might end up kidnapping one if I did lol 😆 The reception person showed me my room and gave me a bottle of water, maybe RO water. I was a bit disappointed here because there was a couple before me who were given packaged drinking water but I was not. It costs around 20rs a bottle so at least I can expect that for consistency. The room was good and spacious with an attached washroom. I was happy to see that everything was well maintained. There was an AC, but since it was already cold after the rain, it was not required and I had not opted for an AC room either. There was also a TV, but without a remote. As I was busy with my schedule, I did not need the TV, so I didn’t ask for the remote.The room also had free WiFi service, which is a good addition. There was a good spacious cupboard with drawers, a mirror, 2 chairs, a blanket, 2 cushions, and 2 pillows. The bedsheet was clean and the mattress was comfortable. The only small drawback was that the room lights were a bit dim and not very bright. In short, everything was above average. There was also a dustbin just outside the room. In short, everything was good. There was also a dustbin just outside the room. Now coming to the bathroom, which again surprised me it was good, clean, and spacious with no water leakage. It had a sink, bucket, and mug.

We liked the behaviour and accomodation available at the place.

Locality is lit bit crowdy.

Best room according to price and comfort. Very friendly staff. Very clean and hygeinic too

Location is the only USP

Cleanliness was not upto the mark, could have done better
